Wednesday, Midweek Headaches

So the Production Dept is running like a 4WD with very bad suspension. We’re ok but he whole road is rougher than it should be.
The thing that gets us all is setting the tempo of the day and then someone else says “yes” and the tempo is jumped up 4 notches.
What we to as producers is make the best quality product in the given time frame except when we get the extras, those get the A Game while those that are not tardy get the B Grade. Doesn’t seem fair does it.
This is why I advocate the “get it all done at a good pace” theory. It leaves to the time to get the extra done or revisit those you can give the little extra to.
Today I forgot that important rule and paid the price. A very frustrating “late one”
